ELIGIBILITY

  • Open to new and existing Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) customers aged 50 years old and above
  • Placements of BSN TD-i Senior Citizen and BSN SSP Platinum are to be made concurrently within the Campaign Period over the counter at any BSN branch or at any BSN promotional counter
  • Minimum placement amount: RM10,000
  • Minimum placement amount is only for “New Funds”

“New Funds”:

Funds which are not originated from any BSN account of the customer which shall be deposited into the customer’s account within 7 days from the availability of the funds and before the expiry of the Campaign Period. The acceptable New Funds are as follows:

  • Funds which are transferred from other banks via Financial Process Exchanges (FPX), DuitNow, Instant Transfer, interbank GIRO, telegraphic transfer, local cheque or banker’s cheque.
  • Proceeds arising from the redemption of equity, unit trust funds, bonds and/or sukuk during the Campaign Period.
  • Cash from external sources other than from BSN.

Note: *Valid during the Campaign Period. Upon maturity, the participating BSN TD-i Senior Citizen shall be auto-renewed at the prevailing BSN TD-i Senior Citizen 12-month board rate and participating BSN SSP Platinum shall be converted into normal BSN SSP and shall be subjected to the existing Terms & Conditions.
