CHANGES TO YOUR CREDIT CARD/-i STATEMENT DATE
Dear valued cardholders,
Effective January 2024, we will synchronise all your BSN Credit Card/-i statements to have the same billing cycle date. This means that all your Islamic and/or conventional credit card statements will be adjusted to have ONE statement date and payment due date for ease of your future statement and payment reference. This change is applicable to customers who hold multiple BSN Credit Cards/-i with different statement dates.
You will receive an SMS notification by December 2023 confirming when the changes will take effect. In the meantime, your current statement date and payment due date are still applicable until the statement synchronisation takes place. Please continue to make payments on or before the payment due date to avoid the imposition of finance charges/actual management fees and late fee/compensation fee charges.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Rest assured, you will still enjoy a finance charge/actual management fee grace period of at least twenty (20) days starting from the date of the new statement date if you make full payment of the outstanding balance from the previous month's statement by the payment due date.
Please note that when changes are implemented your statement period may be extended or reduced, where the period between the last statement date and the following statement date may be more or less than the usual 30 days. You are advised to contact BSN Contact Centre at 1300-88-1900 or email customercare@bsn.com.my for any inquiries regarding your BSN Credit Card/-i statement date and payment due date.
- If you have any existing or ongoing active instalment plans under your BSN Credit Card/-i account(s), the instalment interest or profit rate/management fee, tenure and monthly repayment amount of your existing instalment plan shall remain unchanged.
- If you are holding any BSN Cash Back and/or Rewards Points Credit Card/-i with category spend and minimum spend requirement, the Cash Back and/or Rewards Points earning period will be calculated from the last statement date up to the new statement date. Monthly capping and minimum spending requirements will remain unchanged.
- If you have any existing supplementary card(s), your supplementary card statement date will follow your principal card statement date.
- Please make necessary payment arrangements based on the new payment due date to avoid the imposition of finance charges/actual management fees and late fee/compensation fee charges, or service interruption on your BSN Credit Card/-i.
