Protect yourself against cyber risks and malware threats
  • Do not use a jailbroken Apple® iPhone®, rooted Android™ phone or any other mobile device that has been jailbroken or rooted.
  • Ensure your personal device and computer used for online banking are updated with the latest antivirus and firewall software.
  • Do not click on links from unknown senders that may be embedded with malware and viruses.
  • Do not install applications / apks from unofficial sources or links. Installing apps from unofficial sources or links can pose high security risks as these apps may have vulnerabilities and increase the likelihood of malware infection, potentially compromising your device and banking apps.
  • Scammers are becoming increasingly advanced with their tactics. A new trick involves scammers targeting Android users who download Android Package Kit (APK) files to obtain the customers’ bank details and make transactions.
