BSN HONOURED WITH THREE PRESTIGIOUS AWARDS AT ADFIAP SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT AWARDS 2025
Kuala Lumpur, 25 April 2025 – Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) has reaffirmed its leadership in sustainable and inclusive finance with three prestigious accolades at the ADFIAP Sustainable Development Awards 2025.
The awards recognise BSN’s meaningful efforts in advancing financial practices that empower communities and support national development priorities in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Hosted annually by the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), the awards honour institutions that demonstrate excellence in development impact. BSN received regional recognition across three key categories.
BSN was named the Winner in the SME Development category for its innovative partnership with MesinKira, a project that enhances the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises through accessible, tech-driven financial solutions. The bank also received a Merit Award in Corporate Governance for its robust Sustainability Framework that embeds ESG (environmental, social and governance) principles across the organisation with purpose and accountability. In addition, BSN’s inaugural Sustainability Report earned the Special Award for Best Sustainability Report, highlighting the bank’s commitment to transparent, impact-oriented communication.
